TRUE HEALTH - Optimal Nutrition
Optimal Nutrition: A Lifelong Pursuit
Medical research has established an indisputable link between good nutrition and long-term health. Good nutrition includes both micronutrients - the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other compounds we consume in small amounts - and macronutrients - the carbohydrates, proteins, and fats that make up the bulk of our food.
Both classes of nutrients are critical for long-term health. In short, optimal nutrition is a lifelong pursuit: vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other nutrients.
More and more meals are eaten away from home, and a steadily increasing proportion of those meals are from fast food restaurants.
Today, optimal nutrition requires supplementation with high-quality
Insufficient vitamin intake is apparently a cause of chronic diseases. Recent evidence has shown that sub-optimal levels of vitamins (below standard), even well above those causing defiency syndromes, are risk factors for chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and osteoporosis. A large portion of the general population is apparently at increased risk for this reason. - Dr Robert Fletcher and Dr Kathleen Fairfield
Concept of Oxidative Stress
Even though oxygen is necessary for life itself, it is inherently dangerous for our existence. In the process of utilizing oxygen within your cells to create energy, you also create a by-product referred to as free radicals. Free radicals are charged oxygen molecules that are missing at least one electron and desire to get an electron from the surrounding area. If it is not readily neutralized by an antioxidant, which has the ability to give this free radical the electron it desires, it can go on to create more volatile free radicals, causing damage to the cell wall, vessel wall, proteins, fats, and even the DNA nucleus of the cell. In fact, the medical literature now shows us that over 70 chronic degenerative diseases are the result of this process. Diseases like Coronary Artery Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Arthritis, Macular Degeneration, Lupus, and others are the result of small oxidative changes that occur over a long period of time.
Concept of Cellular Nutrition
There are over 180 epidemiologic studies (studies that involve a very large number of people) that all show the very same thing. Those individuals who have the highest levels of total antioxidants in their body compared with those who have the lowest levels have a 2 to 3 fold decreased risk of Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and even Alzheimer's dementia.
Cellular nutrition would be defined as providing ALL of the micronutrients to the cell at these optimal or advanced levels that have been shown to provide a health benefit.
Every man, woman, and child should not only supplement a healthy diet but also be involved in a modest exercise program. This is the key to protecting and maintaining your health.
Nutritional medicine is not like taking drugs. It takes a minimum of 6 months to build up the body's natural defenses and many of my patients did not even begin to see any improvements in their health until after 6 months. Nutritional supplementation is not an alternative or substitute for traditional medical care.
How our cells are damaged
Free Radicals are highly destructive molecules. Because they are missing an electron, they destroy healthy molecules by stealing their electrons and making them into free radicals too. This causes a chain reaction of damage to various parts of our cells
Free radicals can result from our environment. They are also produced by our body in the process of burning food for energy. We cannot avoid them, but we can neutralize their action.
Why a healthy diet helps
Food – particularly fruits and vegetables – supplies many types of antioxidants, which “donate” their extra electrons to neutralize free radicals. Eating a variety of healthy food also gives our body the nutrients if needs to repair and regenerate damaged cells. With proper nutrition, our cells can last a lifetime.

... Where do Vitamins and Minerals come from?
... The Solution
Vitamin supplement warning!
Not all supplements are beneficial. They must be absorbed by your body. As you can see from the x-ray, these supplements, which are from a “name brand” company would do you no good. They’re still un-dissolved in the colon!
What’s more important than your health?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Not your business, not your boss, not your children. When you lose your health…..
